Making gowns has been a passion I have pursued since I was a little girl. I was influenced by my Mother who taught me the basics of sewing at age 8, and early on it was clear I had strong creative abilities. At high school I entered fashion competitions and won, and decided to pursue my creative energies by studying to become a fashion designer at Wanganui Polytechnic.

Since graduating in 1998 with a Bachelor of Fashion & Design, I have worked in a variety of areas of the fashion industry - from machining, to design and development.

In the past few years I have established my own label and made-to-measure bridal and evening-wear business from my home studio in Ashhurst, just outside of Palmerston North.

I married in 2002 and have a husband Bryan, a two year old son Caleb, and a daughter Hayley, born in September 2006.

I am a perfectionist and take great pride in my work and do all I can to give my clients a completely stress-free and friendly service.
